Rice Drain Basket, Rice Filter, Fruit and Vegetable Strainer - Kitchen Colander, Multi-Purpose Tool, Small and Practical

This is a great basket! It holds at least 2 cups of rice, maybe even 3. The bottom is solid; you tilt it to let the water drain through the little perforations opposite the side with a lip, so you can get a good grip on it.

The holes are very small. No need to worry about rice grains falling through. I can think of plenty of other things you can rinse with it, vegetables as well as grains like quinoa etc. I like the oval shape.

Much easier to handle than a round colander, and it holds more than even a large colander. (That's what I used to use.) It's sturdy plastic, not too stiff, and easy to wash.
